Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all workshops, holiday programmes, mock assessments, progress assessments, interview preparation sessions, Saturday School sessions and related educational services provided by Mums in the Wood Education.

Bookings

All workshop, mock assessment, progress assessment, interview preparation and course bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from Mums in the Wood Education. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bookings cannot be reserved without payment.

Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the limited nature of places and the preparation involved in organising assessments, workshops and courses, fees are generally non-refundable. Where cancellation is made in writing more than 72 hours before the scheduled session or course, the booking fee will be refunded less a £25 administrative charge. Where cancellation is made within 72 hours of the scheduled booking, a 50% refund may be issued. Where cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled booking, a 25% refund may be issued. Unfortunately, cancellations made after this period are non-refundable. Transfer requests may be considered at our discretion where circumstances allow.

Missed Sessions

Missed workshops, assessments, mock examinations or interview sessions cannot usually be rescheduled or refunded. Where appropriate and feasible, materials or feedback may still be provided.

Assessments & Reports

All mock assessments, progress assessments and interview preparation sessions are intended to provide educational guidance and insight based on a child’s performance at the time of assessment. Reports, recommendations and feedback constitute professional educational opinion only and do not guarantee school offers, assessment outcomes or future academic performance.

Group Sessions

Children attending group workshops or courses are expected to participate respectfully and appropriately throughout the session. We reserve the right to remove a child from a session where behaviour significantly disrupts the learning environment or affects the experience of other children.

Online Sessions

For online workshops and assessments, parents are responsible for ensuring that children have access to a suitable device, stable internet connection and an appropriate working environment.
