St Anthony’s School Boys only Selective Entry is at reception.

Register interest by telephone or via the enquiry form on the website, in the year before. After a school visit, if you are still interested, you are asked to pay the registration fee of £100

Arnold House Boys only Selective Entry at Year 1.

Chepstow House Co-ed Non-selective Main point of entry is at Reception but they do take rising 3 year olds into the nursery.

St Christina’s School Co-ed (Boys till 7 only) Non-selective Main point of entry is at Nursery

Applications should be made at least two years before the proposed year of entry.

Complete admissions form and send it along with the registration fee of £100

Parents then attend an open evening and make an appointment to meet the head mistress.

St Christopher’s school Girls only Selective Applications should be made as early as possible. The registration form must be submitted along with the registration fee of £100

Only point of entry to the school is at 4+ and 5+. Girls born between September and February sit the 4+ and those born between March and August sit the 5+ in Year 1.

Small group tours are organised before the assessments and parents are invited to view the school.

Selection is via an assessment

Term fees are £4,325

Devonshire House Co-ed Selective Entry to nursery at 2.5 is upon observation of a play session.

Children must be fully toilet trained.

A registration fee of £100 is payable on submission of the application.

Attending an open morning is advised. Booking ahead is not necessary. You can just show up.

Entry to the junior school from the Oak Tree Nursery is automatic.

Places are available for pre-reception and reception children who have not attended the nursery but these children will have to take part in a group assessment.

The Hall Boys only Selective Entry can be at 4+ to reception or at 5+ to Year 1. Parents choose one or the other at the point of applying.

Register and return the application form together with the registration fee of £100 before your son’s first birthday.

After registration an invitation will be extended to attend an open evening.

Places are offered based on an assessment and interview.

For entry to Reception, the deposit upon the offer of a place being accepted is a full term’s fees payable at the time of signing the parental contract.

A further £1,000 deposit will be required on the first day of term.

For entry to Year 1, the deposit upon the offer of a place being accepted is £1,000 at the time of signing the parental contract. A full term’s fees will then have to be paid in March of the same year you’re your son will be starting school.

Hampstead Hill Co-ed (school goes up to 7) Non- selective Main point of entry is to the nursery.

Places occasionally become available in later years.

Early registration is key. A wait list is operated and places occasionally become available. There is no registration fee charged for submitting an application.

Transfer from lower to upper school is not automatic.

Term fees are paid monthly before the 10th of each month.

For Nursery and Reception, the days are divided as follows:

7.45 – 12.30 – £1,110 per month for 11 months

7.45 – 14.15 – £1,330 per month for 11 months.

7.45 – 15.45 – £1,400 per month for 11 months

7.45 – 17.30 – £1,440 per month for 11 months.

13.30 – 17.30 – £845 per month for ll months

Upper school fees can be paid either monthly or term.

Fees are £5,200 per term or

£1,420 per month

Sibling discounts are offered.

Heathside Preparatory Co-ed Selective Main point of entry is to the Nursery at the age of 3.

A completed application form

(online completion preferred)

together with the £100 registration fee must be submitted.

The child will be invited to spend a morning at the school and then the offer of a place will be made if they feel the school can meet the child’s needs appropriately.

Siblings are given priority

Applications should be made well in advance and addressed to the Headmaster.

Parents are invited to come and visit the school with their sons at least two years before entry.

St Johns Wood Pre-Prep Co-ed Non-selective Main point of entry is to the Nursery.

Registration forms are only accepted after a school tour has been completed and are accepted from birth onwards.

Places are offered on a first come first served basis.

Applications must be submitted with the registration fee.

This is followed by an informal meeting with the parents and child

Years 1 and 2 – £4,370

King Alfred’s School Co-ed Selective Main points of entry are at Reception; Year 7 and Sixth Form

Parents are asked to complete an online registration form and submit it with the registration fee of £50

Reception entry: Date of registration in relation to date of birth is important and the first 40 children on the wait list (depending on how old the children were when they were registered) are invited to visit the school.

Places are offered after the visit.

The visit (half-day for reception and one full day for Year1) is central to the process.

The deposit upon the offer of a place being accepted is equivalent to one term’s fees.

Fees for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 – £4,696 per term

Years 3 and 6 – £5,410

Upper school – £5,661

Optional lunches are charged at an extra fee.

Formal school visits are charged at £30 per day inclusive of lunch.

Lyndhurst House Boys only Selective Main point of entry is at reception.

Registration can be made at any age. Applications should be submitted along with the registration fee of £100.

Places are offered based on an assessment and parent interview.

Assessments are held in the November of the year preceding entry.

Maple Walk School Co-ed Partially Selective Entry is on a first come first serve basis and siblings are given priority. Early registration is key.

Entry into reception is after booking a place on the open day tours. For entry after reception and mid-way through the year, a child will have to sit an assessment.

Individual tours will be available to parents who contact the admissions office.

Registration fee – £1oo

Deposit – £1500

Fees per term – £2,957

St Mary’s Hampstead Co-ed till 7 then Girls only Entry to Lower school is non-selective.

Entry to the Upper school is selective.

Again, early registration is key. The forms can be printed off the website and must be sent in to the Admissions Registrar along with a cheque for £75.

Parents are then invited to tour the school. No registrations are accepted until personal contact has been made with the registrar.

Children of all faiths are welcome.

Priority is given to siblings and parents practising the Catholic faith.

Boys are taken in nursery and can stay till the end of the reception year.

Deposit paid upon the offer of a place being accepted is £1,000.

Nursery term fees – £2,325 plus another £37.50 for each afternoon taken and a further £3.40 for each lunch taken.

Reception onwards, term fees are £4,305 per term and a further £205 per term for lunch.

Mulberry House Co-ed (till 7) Selective Main point of entry is on the Monday after the child’s second birthday.

Early registration is key.

5 sessions per week are offered and can be for morning, afternoon or full time. A minimum of 20 hours is required per session.

Places are offered based on the date on which applications are received.

Sibling policy in operation.

The school also operates a waiting list.

Deposit paid on the offer of a full time place being accepted between the ages of 2 and 4 is £1,560

Northbridge House Co-ed Selective Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis in the year preceding entry at nursery level.
The recommended date by which registration forms should be handed in is when your baby is 9 months old. Registration forms for pre-prep, prep and the senior school should be handed in by 3rd December.For years 1 and 2, parents are invited to tour the school in the November prior to the Year of entry. The following January children are invited to meet the Head teacher and join a class for a taster session. Offers are made a month after.For entry to Prep, children are invited to spend an “Admissions Day” which is arranged on an individual basis. They will sit an assessment and also have an informal interview with the Head Teacher and are finally invited to spend some time in a class with their peers.

Nottinghill Preparatory school Co-ed Non-selective at reception. Selective from Year 1 onwards The recommended date of obtaining and handing in applications is as soon after the birth of your child as possible even though the cut off date is the year preceding entry.

The registration fee is £50

Younger children who enter Reception have the option of two half days in the Autumn term and one half day in the Spring term.

Entry into each class is decided by a ballot system from which siblings are exempt.

The ballot takes place usually around 16 months prior to the September entry. The ballot is split for September to February birthdays and March to August birthdays.

Year 1 children are assessed in the Spring term for the following September. They will sit the tests and have an interview with the Head or Deputy Head. Parents are informed two weeks after.

The school operates a waiting list for unsuccessful applicants.

Pembridge Hall Preparatory School Girls only Non-selective at Kindergarten

Selective from Year 1 upwards

Linked to Wetherby. Process is similar to the extent that early registration is key. Forms must be handed in with a registration fee of £150.

Straight from the delivery room is best is the common advice. School is currently trying to dispel this thought process. Advises that it does not make a difference but must be within a few weeks of birth (up to two weeks).

Applications are processed by calendar month to ensure even distribution.

Places are allocated after the month is over.

Month is divided into thirds with an even number of girls being selected from each third. Names are then added to a waiting list.

If a definite place is given, then a tour is arranged with the headmaster.

Term fees £6,170.

UCS pre- prep  Boys only Selective The main point of entry is at 4+.

Parents are encouraged to visit the school prior to registration.

Registration is via a form available on the website or from the office and must be submitted along with a registration fee.

Registration forms should be submitted between 1st January and June of the year preceding entry.

UCS registration fee of £125 is to be submitted along with the registration form.

Occasional places may come up in different years. Registration for such places should ideally be at the same time as general admissions but may be considered under special circumstances later on in the year as well.

Selection is via an assessment.

Deposit to be paid upon the offer of a place being accepted in the Nursery is £2,250.

Deposit to be paid upon the offer of a place being accepted in UCS is £3,500.

Nursery (Phoenix)

Autumn fees – £3,688

Queen’s College Girl’s only Non-selective at Reception.

Selective in every other year.

The main point of entry to the school is at Reception.

Registration forms should be accompanied by a copy of the child’s birth certificate and passport and the registration fee of £50

Forms I – VI inclusive – Assesses academic achievement and potential, evaluation of social skills and review of school report.

Deposit payable upon the offer of a place being accepted is £1,000. In addition parents are expected to pay £3,500 at the end of the December preceding the year of entry.

Term fees for Reception – Form II – £4,840

Term fees for Form III – Form VI – £5,230

Sarum Hall Girls only Non-selective at Nursery.

Selective from Year 1 upwards.

Main point of entry is the Nursery school.

Registration should take place 2 years before the proposed year of entry. The forms should be sent to the registrar along with a registration fee of £100.

The school has a sibling policy. Older siblings will be considered if places become available.

Places are offered 15 months prior to year of entry.

Deposit upon the offer of a place being accepted is £500.

Balance of the fees is payable seven months prior to entry.

term fees for Nursery and Reception is £3,712

Year 1 upwards is £4,020

Siblings are entitled to a 5% discount.

South Hampstead Girls only Selective Registration fees of £100 must be handed in along with the registration form to enable a child to sit the entrance exam.

A child must be registered two years prior to the year of entry.

Open days are offered in the Spring and Summer to parents of children who are registered.

Applications can be downloaded for a specified two week period in September from the website.

A guarantee is given that each child who hands in the application within this two week period will be assessed.

The assessment is in two parts. The first stage is held in November of the year preceding entry.

Approximately half the children are invited back in small groups for a second round in January. References must be provided at this point.

Places are offered in February and parents are given a deadline to accept.

Deposit upon the offer of a place being accepted is £1,000.

Lunch is charged at £612

The Senior School lunches are charged at £567

Trevor Roberts Co-ed Selective Main point of entry is at 5 years old.

Call the school as soon after birth as possible. Parents who do, will be invited to tour the school after which the child will be registered.

No registration fee is charged.

Please note that tours are offered on a first come first served basis.

Children are assessed in the September and October of the year preceding entry.

No Deposit is payable.

Term fees is usually disclosed on the complementary slip that is attached to the prospectus. (This is roughly between £4,270 and £4,870 per term).

The Village school Girls only Non-selective at 3+

Selective at 4+ and upwards

Children usually attend 3 – 5 mornings each week.

All children attend full sessions from the age of 4 onwards.

Registration forms should be submitted along with a registration fee of £100.

Deposit to be paid upon the offer of a place being accepted is £1,000.

Term fees are £4,830 per term and school lunches are priced at £270 per term.

Pre-prep term fees are as follows:

3 days – £1,915 per term

4 days – £2,540 per term

5 days – £2,995 per term

All day 9.00 to 15.00 are as folllows:

3 days – £2,540

4 days – £3,380

Wetherby Preparatory school Boys only Non-selective Main point of entry to the school is at 4+. There are no assessments or tests.

Early registration is absolutely key. Parents are known to leave from the delivery room to the school office to hand in the forms within minutes of the birth.

Parents are also able to register via telephone, email or post.

Postal registrations are taken according to the post date on the envelope.

Children who are allocated definite places are invited to the school to meet the headmaster and tour the school. Confirmed registration forms are handed out at this stage.

Registration forms must be handed in as soon as possible together with a £150 registration fee.

Definite places are not allocated until the parents have met the Headmaster.

The school operates an Alumni and sibling policy and the boys who are connected to the school either as a son of an alumni or as a sibling will be given a definite place.

Deposit paid on offer of a place being accepted is half the term’s fee payable the year preceding entry.

Term fees are £6,540 per term.
